Simple, secure, and organized. Our online registration system makes entering your dancers quick and easy, and includes:
Registration closes when an event reaches capacity — each event accepts a limited number of entries to keep the experience excellent for every studio.
Registration is processed securely through our partner platform, DanceBUG.
We recommend registering at least 30 days prior to your event. Late entries may be accepted based on availability and are subject to late registration fees. Once an event reaches capacity, registration officially closes.
Please have dancers arrive at least one hour before their scheduled performance. Upon arrival:
Schedules are typically released approximately 10 days before each event.
Music must be uploaded seven days prior to the event. We also recommend bringing a backup USB drive. Canvas of Dance uses professional digital playback equipment.
Creativity is encouraged. To keep the event running efficiently:
Canvas of Dance celebrates creativity while maintaining a positive, family-friendly atmosphere. We ask all studios to present age-appropriate costuming, respectful choreography, and appropriate music selections — so every audience member can enjoy every performance.
Professional photography and video services will be available throughout the event. Studios grant Canvas of Dance permission to use event photography and video for promotional purposes. Recording policies may vary by venue.
Entry fees become non-refundable after registration deadlines. Credits may be issued for documented illness or injury, provided directly to the registered studio. If Canvas of Dance cancels an event, studios will receive a refund or credit.
Every participant must have a completed Canvas of Dance waiver prior to performing. No exceptions.
When do schedules come out? Approximately 10 days before the event.
Can we make changes after registering? Yes — changes may be made before the registration deadline.
Do you accept late entries? Yes, when space allows.
Do you offer scholarships? Absolutely — Canvas of Dance proudly offers scholarships and special recognitions throughout the season.
Are props allowed? Yes! We encourage creativity while following our safety guidelines.
What happens if a dancer becomes ill? Please contact us immediately — documented medical situations may qualify for a studio credit.
